It has been a privilege to serve the people of District 39 for the past 3-years, and I look forward to continuing to work hard for your interests in the State House. We in rural Alaska have a number of opportunities before us. For those in the coastal communities there are the potential economic benefits that come with increased shipping through the Arctic. For those in the interior and the Copper River Basin areas the potential for biomass to reduce energy costs is substantial. To take advantage of thsese and other opportunities will take leadership & experience. My focus has been to pursue the necessary funding and to support legislation that benefits our district.
